Therapeutic persons, both military officers and enlisted, are found in the Air Force, Army, and Navy. Navy medical personnel support the Marines.  While it isn't a military force, the U.S. Public Health Service is a uniformed service as well. 

What Causes AIDS

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, or AIDS, is a medical condition that snaps the immune system of the body. The body initially gets infected with HIV, which is a retrovirus that attacks the crucial cells of the immune system. The condition is designated as AIDS when the infection reaches its maximum severity. AIDS can primarily be caused through sexual contact, infected blood transfusion, and from an infected pregnant mother to the child.
